5SOS Concert

So I went to the 5sos concert last night with my boyfriend. He bought us tickets for Valentine's Day and my best friend got tickets last second and ended up sitting a few rows in front of us! 

I discovered 5sos when I was about 13 years old. I didn't know who they were until I went to a One Direction concert, saw Try Hard on the screen before the show, and watched them perform for the first time. At first I thought "great is this another version of 1D" ? So when I got home I did some research and realized how talented they are and how far from 1D they are! I quickly became a huge fan and saw them open for 1D again! A few years later I saw them twice in Camden NJ. My best friend also loved them so we went to all the concerts together. Since then in about 2014 I haven't seen them perform. I followed their songs and kept up for years. 

I met my boyfriend in 2024. On our first date we were in his car and he told me to play some music. I got nervous because I wanted to impress him with good music, so I played teenage dream by Katy Perry LOL. We ended up playing a bunch of Katy Perry songs on the way to and from our first date. We now have been dating for 2 years and still listen to Katy Perry and have always loved Teenage Dream. I eventually showed him 5SOS and told him how their cover of Teenage Dream is my favorite of their covers. So sitting at the concert last night, with my boyfriend we were so excited for the secret song. We went to vote and there were no options. Then 5SOS continued to say that they are choosing our secret song. The fan opened the brief case to reveal the song and we saw "Teenage Dream." The way we immediately turn to each other, smiling knowing it was so meant to be. We did almost pass out after that song because we were dancing so hard, but it genuinely made my night.

I just want to say that it was so amazing seeing 5SOS with not only my childhood best friend who I saw 5SOS with when we were 13, but also the love of my life. My boyfriend never really knew their songs and he even said it was the best concert hes ever been to, and I totally agree! It was such a fun, magical, beautiful night. A big thank you to my boyfriend for this concert and for your love. I love you forever and always. THAT CONCERT ROCKED!!!!!!!
