unfortunately I do. like I got eczema bad girl. well, I did. why am I posting about this on my blog? idk. but if you even care in the slightest here's a quick eczema story. so ive had it my whole life. literally came out the womb with rashes. I kinda grew out of it until 2024 when (TMI) I got on the pill. my eczema got so bad I was screaming crying like a little baby and had to put my adult self in a bath to calm down the burning. like red open skin HEAD TO TOE. so bad that my dermatologist screamed when she saw it (im not kidding). so this continued for 2 years. I went to my dermatologist about 4 times, an allergist twice (told Im allergic to dogs and trees, don't think thats the issue), went to a doctor twice, and went to the emergency room once. when I tell you how many creams I was prescribed. id genuinely say it was in the double digits and guess what, NONE OF THEM WORKED. every doctor I went to I told them I think it has something to do with hormones. didn't listen. so I diagnosed myself with a progesterone allergy. so I stopped taking the pill in January of this year. it got better for about a month...then right back to how it was before, cool. so I ended up going to one of the best rated dermatologists in my area and she prescribed me dupixent! I took my first 2 doses 2 weeks ago. it went great! except I did almost pass out giving myself the second injection and my boyfriend had to put an ice pack on my head and get me chickfila (I love you honey bear). but honestly since then my eczema is healed and I am so happy. it was taking such a toll on me and I felt gross 24/7. I finally am able to feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin!
